LaunchCast has a Valentines station called 'Love Bites', and it's really worth listening to. I had no idea so many of these songs existed. And they're all rather amusing. Though, for listeners bitten by love, it might not seem so funny...
I've heard songs like Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You (Led Zeppelin), She Hates Me (Puddle of Mudd), Tainted Love (Soft Cell), It's All Over Now (Rolling Stones), I Hate Myself For Loving You(Joan Jett), Don't Go Away Mad (just go away) (Motley Crue)...
I particularly liked Song For The Dumped (Ben Folds Five)- the lyrics go like this:
I want my money back
(and don’t forget to give
Me back my black t-shirt)
Wish I hadn’t bought you dinner
Right before you dumped me
On your front porch
Give me my money back
Wonder if he got his money and shirt back... he should :)
I'm now going to try out LaunchCasts "Breaking up is hard to do"... though I doubt it will be as entertaining...
