Last weekend, the Chrome Team at Rave travelled to Mahabaleshwar. And we had an absolutely wonderful time. Even though the bus journey was as long as our stay there. Even though the bus was colder than the hill station itself. Though a few surreptitious sips of rum kept us warm :-)
It was an eight hour journey, which actually became 11 hours due to a flat tyre. We reached our hotel at 8:30 am, checked in and planned our itinerary for the day. We did notice a strange phenomenon- the boys actually took longer than the girls to get ready. Much longer.
Decided to go boating, so had a very long walk to the lake. And it took longer than it should have because Esai kept stopping to photograph various flowers and plants. Aldrin kept stopping to photograph road signs. Ganpati kept stopping to have us photograph him :-)
After our boat ride, we headed back to the hotel for lunch, and then on a tour of Mahabaleshwar. Finally landed up at Sunset Point, one hour too early. Apparently, so had half the population of Mahabaleshwar. We actually had to grab a spot on the wall and stay put till the sun set.
Went shopping for strawberries, strawberry jam, strawberry ice cream, strawberry crush... I don't have to tell you that strawberries are the main attraction at Mahabaleshwar.
And speaking of strawberry crush, try mixing it with vodka. It makes for a delightful drink, though it does tend to be rather sweet. We sipped on that for half the night and played cards, and all in all, had a smashing time.
The excitement hasn't died down... we're still looking at photos...for about the hundredth time, I think :-D

i was just searching for the strawberries details, i couldnot find the same here as the said thing is famous. i was searching for the detailed specifications of the said strawberry.
